Industrial gas coolers are designed to remove heat from gas (hydrogen), which circulates in a closed system of equipment (turbine generator or general purpose synchronous compensator).
They are available in four climatic variants: O (general); U (moderate); UHL (moderate and cold); T (tropical).
According to the placement category, they can be vertical or horizontal.
The material from which the pipes of gas coolers are made is high–quality low-alloy and carbon steel, resistant to corrosion, the fins are mainly made of aluminum.
